I bought ExamMatrix EA Review software at the Las Vegas IRS Nationwide Tax Forum in August 2010. I started the review in September 2010, passed Part I in October 2010, Part III in December 2010, and Part II in January 2011. Now I am just waiting for the IRS to accept my application for Enrollment. I was skeptical of the software approach at first, but it was the best investment I made to prepare for the EA Exam.

I would highly recommend using ExamMatrix to anyone who wants to become an Enrolled Agent.  After taking a year of college accounting courses, I took the first EA test and failed.  Then I decided to use ExamMatrix and presto - no more failed tests!  I passed all three parts in a row.  The tutorials are so helpful that I still use ExamMatrix for review during my lunch break, even though I've been an Enrolled Agent for a year and a half now.  I can only imagine how useful ExamMatrix will be to any who are going to need to take the new tests for Registered Tax Return Preparers that will be coming soon.

ExamMatrix EA exam prep software was the most efficient method to
prepare for a professional licensing exam I have experienced yet.  When
I sat to take the three parts over a 2 1/2 month period, I easily passed
each on the first attempt with total confidence.  The actual IRS exams
mimicked the ExamMatrix questions so closely I felt I was in front of
my own computer taking practice exams.  

I hope others can see what a small investment it is to purchase your
software in relation to the time it saves in preparing.  The return on
those two little letters is well worth the money spent on your software
and then some.

I bought ExamMatrix near the end of 2009.  I was working full time and only had a hour or so a day to study during the week.  So I started with using that hour a day to study using ExamMatrix.  All I did to study was to answer the test questions in ExamMatrix.  I did not read any of the publications or any other materials.  I did read the explanations of the correct answer that are presented by the program after you answer a question.  For part one I studied about 45 days in this manner and passed on my first attempt.  I had to wait for the next exam until May.  I followed the same study plan for part two.  This took a little longer because there is more material. But once again I passed on the 1st try.  When it came time to study for part three I had all the confidence in the world.  It only took me a couple of weeks to be prepared to take part three again passing on my first try. 
 
Your program made it so easy to study the material needed to pass the exam.  Thanks for developing this great product!!!

Here are my scores on the CISA exam after using the ExamMatrix CISA review software.  I used the reference guides/manuals that came with it a little bit but mainly used the software. 

The ExamMatrix cd was worth every penny; since it aided in my passing the first time.  I'm confident the CIA review cd will be just as good.
