Study Plan for the CBM Part 1 Exam 200 Suggested Hours in 10 Calendar Weeks
The number of study hours suggested for Part 1 is for the students with undergraduate degree in business only. Students who do not have an undergraduate degree in business should double the number of study hours. Similarly, students who graduated in business five or more years ago should increase the number of study hours by 50 percent. Please note that when comes to studying for an exam there is no such thing as overdoing.

The following study approach is applicable to all modules in Part 1:
Step 1. Study the glossary terms from the Theory book for each module.
Step 2. Take the partial self-assessment test consisting of the first 50 or 100 multiple-choice questions from the Practice book for each module.
Step 3. Grade the partial self-assessment test by yourself. If the passing rate is more than 75 percent read the Theory book at least one time. If the passing rate is less than or equal to 75 percent read the Theory book at least two times.
Step 4. Take the full self-assessment test from the Practice book for each module.
Step 5. Grade the full self-assessment test by yourself. Read the explanations given for all questions. Follow the logic in Step 3.

Step 4. Take the full self-assessment test from the Practice book for the corresponding applications.
Step 5. Grade the full self-assessment test by yourself. Read the explanations given for all questions. Follow the logic in Step 3.
